How do I start the process of arranging care?

How quickly can care begin?

We can respond quickly depending on the urgency, availability, and complexity of support required.

For urgent referrals, we aim to complete assessments and start care as soon as safely possible.

Will I meet the carers before support starts?

Yes. Wherever possible, we introduce carers in advance to help build familiarity and confidence. We believe that trust begins with knowing who will be entering your home.

Will I have the same carers consistently?

Absolutely. Consistency is central to our approach. We allocate a core team of carers who understand your routines, preferences, and support needs. Any changes due to illness or holidays are communicated clearly and in advance whenever possible.

How are carers trained?

All carers complete a full induction, the Care Certificate, mandatory training, specialist modules, and ongoing professional development. We also provide close supervision and support from experienced leaders with NHS, CQC, and clinical backgrounds.

Is Voss Care Group registered with the CQC?

Yes. We are fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and operate in line with national standards for safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness, and leadership.

How do you ensure the safety of the people you support?

We follow rigorous safeguarding procedures, safe recruitment practices, enhanced DBS checks, regular risk assessments, clear communication pathways, and strong governance and oversight led by highly experienced regulatory professionals.

How do you involve families in care?

We work in partnership with families. You can be involved as much or as little as you wish, including care planning, reviews, updates, and decision-making.
